We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team to oversee our daily operations, enhance customer experiences, and help us scale new heights of excellence—especially during peak hours and private events.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Oversight
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all restaurant services including catering and bar operations.
Supervise day-to-day floor operations, ensuring excellent service delivery during both regular hours and special events.
Oversee the successful hosting of pre-booked parties and private functions.
Food, Beverage & Quality Control
Manage menu execution and beverage offerings, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and restaurant standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
Regularly evaluate suppliers and procure high-quality ingredients that support local supply chains.
Financial & Inventory Management
Maintain financial oversight on budgets, stock usage, and purchasing to ensure profitability.
Monitor stock levels and control waste, ensuring cost-efficiency across all operations.
Analyse sales and expenditure reports to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Staff Supervision & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold service quality and maintain a professional environment.
Create staff schedules, allocate responsibilities, and manage performance reviews.
Foster a team culture that values accountability, respect, and communication.
Customer Service & Brand Standards
Ensure guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience through attentive service and clean, welcoming surroundings.
Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the guest experience.
Technology & Innovation
Use POS and reservation systems to streamline service and improve customer engagement.
Implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Entry Requirements
Education: GCSEs or equivalent
Experience: Prior experience in restaurant/hospitality management is essential
Language: English proficiency at CEFR Level B1 or higher

Belvoir Steak and Curry House, we take pride in delivering exceptional cuisine crafted from the finest locally sourced ingredients. We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and uphold the culinary standards that our guests know and love.
Role Summary
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the full kitchen operation, overseeing food preparation, maintaining quality control, and leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff in delivering consistently excellent dishes across our menu of premium steaks, traditional curries, and house specials.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Design, plan, and update menus in alignment with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Maintain quality control across all dishes and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Source, inspect, and manage ingredients from approved suppliers.
Enforce high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in compliance with UK and NEA regulations.
Oversee kitchen stock control, ordering, and storage procedures.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to maintain professional standards and team growth.
Liaise with management to support promotional menus, events, and customer experience initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of South Asian and British cuisine preferred.
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays, including Christmas Day.

Qualifications
Formal academic qualifications are not mandatory for this position. Training will be provided both on-the-job and off-the-job. Various educational paths are available including NVQs/SVQs, BTEC Certificates and Diplomas, as well as foundation degrees. Apprenticeships leading to an NVQ/SVQ at Level 3 are also an option. Additionally, private cookery schools offer relevant courses.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Selecting and inspecting food items from different suppliers to ensure quality.
- Planning menus, preparing, and cooking food items, or overseeing their preparation, while maintaining vigilance over the quality of finished dishes.
- Supervising, organizing, and providing instructions to kitchen staff, managing either the entire kitchen or a specific section.
- Ensuring adherence to hygiene, health, and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
- Coordinating kitchen activities such as fetching, clearing, and cleaning of equipment and utensils.
- Ensuring consistent presentation, preparation, and serving of food in accordance with established standards.
- Adhering to kitchen safety and food hygiene regulations as per NEA standards.
- Ensuring proper handling and storage of all food items.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Plans catering or bar services and supervises staff.
- Decides on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided or discusses customer’s requirements for special events or occasions.
- Purchases or directs the purchasing of supplies and arranges for the preparation of accounts.
- Ensuring adherence to hygiene, health, and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
- Verifies that the quality of food, beverages, and waiting service meets requirements and ensures kitchen and dining areas are kept clean in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limits.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent required.
